TYPES OF BLINDS We manufacture block-out roller blinds, sunscreen blinds and vertical blinds to all New Zealand customers. All of our fabrics and components are imported and are of the highest quality; cutting out the middle man and allowing YOU to enjoy the best possible blinds for the lowest possible price. All of our blinds are versatile and easy to install and clean. We have a range of colours available for each type of blind and samples are available to be sent on request at no cost. Also, there's a choice of colour for components and you decide which side you'd like the chain control on. BLOCK-OUT blinds are great for bedrooms and living areas as they are 100% opaque and maintain privacy. They also help keep the heat in and the cold out and are mould and fade resistant. They are also a fantastic choice for a baby or young child's bedroom as they effectively block out the light - extremely helpful if you have children that nap during the day or have difficulty falling asleep when the sun is still up! These blinds are great value for money and are available in eight colours. SUNSCREEN blinds are our most popular and sophisticated blind. They are becoming increasingly popular throughout offices as they prevent up to 97% of UV rays; which prevents glare and fading of carpets, upholstery, etc. They still allow for a view and maintain privacy during the day. They are a great choice for a room that attracts a lot of sun as they reject heat and help keep the room cool during the long summer months. A perfect, versatile choice for any room in the house; these blinds are available in six colours. Both kinds of roller blinds come with a choice of five colours for the control chain (black, white, grey, cream and silver) and a choice of four colours for the bottom rail (black, white, cream and silver). VERTICAL blinds are our most affordable and versatile option - they are ideal for rental homes and are extremely practical and popular. When drawn, our fabric is 100% opaque which allows you to control how much light/heat enters the room. All of our blinds come weighted at no extra cost and you can choose to omit the bottom chain (this is helpful for customers which pets and/or small children, to prevent them from breaking or getting tangled in the chain). All of our vertical blinds include 100mm fabric slats, a heavy-duty headrail and an option of a valence strip - this is a swatch of fabric inserted into the headrail. Available at just $4.00 pet metre, this is a great feature which really helps to finish the job off. Vertical blinds are available in nine colours (with more to come soon) and YOU choose which side you'd like the chain and controls on. There is also a choice of a left, right or centre-open and blinds are anti-static, dust and mould resistant. We also sell components for 100mm vertical blinds - including bottom weights, bottom chain and slat hangers - for an extremely reasonable price. WOODEN VENETIAN blinds are the latest addition to our product range. Available in 50mm slats, our wooden blinds are made with a heavy-duty head rail and top quality components. Wooden blinds are becoming increasingly popular for both homes and offices and are an incredibly stylish and modern choice at an affordable cost. We offer the two most popular and modern colours available today – white and cream. HOW TO ORDER We offer made-to-measure blinds, so either contact us to arrange a FREE measure and quote (available to Auckland customers only) or provide us with your measurements and we will give you a no-obligation quote (you can do this on any of our Trade Me auctions). HOW TO MEASURE When asking for a quote or placing an order, it is VITAL that the measurements you give us are correct (particularly the width). Please measure from the INSIDE of the window frame, at the top and from corner to corner. Please measure in millimetres for accuracy and do not make any deductions for brackets as we do this once we have received your measurements. Please provide measurements as width by drop and double-check to ensure that the measurements are as accurate as possible. We are able to make roller blinds up to 3m in width and vertical blinds up to 5m in width. Anything larger may need to be split into two or three blinds of equal width. Blinds can also be mounted OUTSIDE of the frame; however please contact us before ordering a exterior-mounted blind as the measuring instructions are slightly different. COLOURS Colour samples can be sent on request free of charge to anywhere in the country, as the colours differ slightly when photographed. We recommend holding the samples against your window at various times of the day, as they can also differ depending on lighting. WHY CHOOSE MR BLINDS? All of our customers receive a copy of our Terms and Conditions when making an order. These include, but are not limited to, the below: PRICE GUARANTEE We guarantee to beat a cheaper quote on proof of prior quote. Proof of prior quote includes, but is not limited to, e-mails, written quotes, faxes or an auction number if the quote was provided by another Trade Me member. PAYMENT ALL orders made online or through Trade Me require payment to be made in full before manufacturing can commence. Payment methods include cash, cheque or, our preferred method of payment, direct credit into the following bank account:
FREIGHT Customers can choose to pick up from our premises during working hours, or freight is available at $10.00 per blind. There is a $10.00 surcharge per order if going to an RD address, and a $30.00 surcharge per order if the order contains a blind over 2.4m in width. Freight charges must be paid in full before dispatch, and we do NOT take any responsibility for freight damage. Please ensure that the goods have arrived to you in good condition before signing for them. We will notify you on the day of dispatch and include a tracking number so that you are able to trace your order. Freight is available to all of our customers in New Zealand. The approximate date of delivery is within ten working days from date payment is received. MEASUREMENTS We are unable to take any responsibility for incorrect measurements given to us by a customer. Please - if you are unsure, then ask us before placing an order. If measurements given are too long; we can shorten the width of a blind for a cost of $50.00 (not including freight costs). If the measurements given are too short, then a new blind will need to be made as we cannot lengthen the width. FEEDBACK We encourage feedback from Trade Me customers. We will place feedback on all completed auctions once the goods have been dispatched or collected. If you are satisfied with our goods and services we would really appreciate you doing the same. RETURNS/CLAIMS Any claims (excluding freight damage) must be made in writing (e-mails are accepted) to MR BLINDS LIMITED within three working days following arrival/collection of the goods. PRICING MR BLINDS LIMITED reserves the right to change its pricing at any time without notice. Quotes given may not be valid from date received to the date order is made; however the customer will always be informed of an increase or decrease in price when accepting a quote. Our price guarantee is still valid regardless of any changes in pricing. |
