You’ll notice a lot of our tools are branded with ToolShed Trade. This line of product consists of top quality tools sourced out of factories producing for well known brand names and more.
We bulk buy from these factories, ship it over, pull it out of the container and put it on the shelf. No middle man or brand royalty to push the price up. THIS MEANS YOU can have the very best tools cheap!

Quality ratings
Because we think that ToolShed are the real tool jokers and we feel it’s important that you have a bit of an idea where the quality of our tools sit, we have three categories:
Serious DIY: For the home user who likes to have good tools but cannot justify a high price. Maybe uses the tool every couple of months.
Trade: Designed for the tradesperson working with one or two in a gang that needs a good tool to do a job but doesn’t necessarily use it on a day to day basis.
Industrial: Designed for the tradie to use on a day to day basis.
Store Policies
All of our individual auctions state their guarantees/warranties, but generally:
Machinery and work shop equipment: 12 months trade warranty.
ToolShed Trade hand tools: life time.
ToolShed Trade power tools: two years trade warranty.
Arges power tools: two years trade warranty.
Consumables: fair use manufacture satisfaction guarantee.
Our warranties are manufacturer warranties and cover manufacturing defects. They do not cover abuse and fair wear and tear.
We can also organize service of your other power tools at our branches - just ask!
Payment and delivery
Most products can be picked up freight free from any of our stores, otherwise the freight is as stated on the individual auctions.
We accept PayNow through TradeMe and well as Visa, Mastercard, EFTPOS and cash in store.
Products using PayNow are generally dispatched the next working day.
Please check goods for transit damage before signing for them.
We do not offer refunds when a customer changes their mind so choose products carefully. Refunds on faulty goods will be assessed on a case by case basis, but generally tools are repaired or replaced.
