I believe an item listed may be stolen (change topic)

If you think that an item listed on the site is stolen or that you've received stolen goods, we strongly suggest that you contact your local Police Station and provide this information directly.

We have an established process in place with the NZ Police that needs to be followed so that we can help. The police will then contact us directly regarding any information they require to follow up your complaint.

When reporting the matter to the police you will need to supply the following details:

  • the Trade Me listing or Purchase number.
  • any additional information that proves the item was stolen.
