If you have bought an item and received negative feedback, please ensure you contact the seller in an attempt to resolve the trade in the first instance. If you are unable to contact the seller, let us know and we can help. As a buyer, you need to ensure that you:
- Pay for goods purchased as soon as possible, and within a week of the auction closing and receiving payment details
- Send your delivery address (where applicable) as soon as possible, and within a week of the auction closing.
If you have fulfilled these responsibilities and are unhappy with the feedback you have received from a seller, we find that open communication between both parties often leads to the resolution of the majority of trade disputes that occur.
If you feel you have done your utmost to resolve the dispute and are still left with unfair feedback, you can report it below. Please note that Trade Me does not arbitrate in feedback and will only take action that is in line with our Feedback Policy and Code of Conduct.
