Issuing refunds (change topic)

You can issue a full or partial refund for items purchased with Pay Now, Ping or Afterpay.

To issue a refund, click on the 'Payment received' button on the auction from your Sold Items page, then click the 'Issue refund' link.

You can issue only one refund per purchase on Trade Me for Pay Now and Afterpay. If you need to issue additional refunds you should contact us. With Ping you can issue multiple refunds per purchase.

When you process a refund your Pay Now, Ping or Afterpay fees will be automatically refunded to your relevant account (Pay Now and Afterpay, or Ping). Full refunds result in all associated fees being refunded. For partial refunds only the fees on the portion of the sale will be refunded.
