Sell-through rate (STR) examples
Example of a seller’s STR, using a variety of multiple-quantity listing examples over three weeks
What does the above mean?
- Week 1 The seller has sold two ducks (listings 1 & 6) and their total unsold is 0 because the listings have not finished yet. As they have no unsold listings, their STR is 100%.
- Week 2 The seller has had seven purchases this week: five through their multiple-quantity listings and two through fixed price offers. They have had four (listings 4, 5, 7 &10) close without any purchases. Their STR is calculated at 64%.
- Week 3 The seller has had four purchases: three through their multiple-quantity listings and one from a fixed price offer. Only one listing has closed without any purchases, therefore, their STR is 80%.
How does it work?
