The sole survivor of a massacre (Burt Reynolds!) swears revenge on his enemies in this classic Sergio Corbucci spaghetti western. It's a tragedy that Burt Reynolds never really competed with Clint Eastwood as the king of the Euro-Westerns, especially with this gem in his biography. He gracefully swings from darkly moody to whackily disturbed and oozes the magnetism that would later make the future Bandit a household name and the perennial nemesis of Smokey. Navajo Joe has all the style, drama and brutality of any of Leone/Eastwood films of the era, but it also has Burt Reynolds and that counts for a lot
