In this memorable version Baron Victor Frankenstein (Ralph Bates) appears more intrested in his philandering than he does in the more bizarre branches of science. But he still finds time to create yet another spine chilling monster played by Dave Prowse (Star War's Darth Vader). The film benefits from Hammer's excellent production values, particularly art direction and make-up. |
