Got To Get Out

Got To Get Out is a registered New Zealand charity, with a mission to get the community outdoors and active via group events, and also operates the 'Got To Get A Bike' program from the Got To Get Out Workshop located on Porana Road Glenfield Auckland.
The Got To Get A Bike program is about taking unwanted bikes that have been discarded or donated and refurbishing these to a high level, for sale or gifting. Sales contribute toward the costs of running the workshop and other charitable objectives such as teaching young people how to repair bikes and arranging outdoor activities. If bikes are given away it's usually at our 'Ride It Keep It events whereby certain cohorts are invited to get a free bike, taught how to use and maintain it, and taken on a group ride.
At the 'Got To Get Out Workshop' within the Wairau Zero Waste Hub (Glenfield Auckland) the bikes are carefully cleaned, lubed, adjusted, serviced, and test ridden ready for sale or gifting. Professional mechanics are on staff as well as volunteers learning about repairing bikes. All bikes are sold at a high standard. Each bike sold comes with a three month warranty and has been through a substantial checklist including chain stretch, bearings, tires, and condition.
At any given time there are dozens of bikes for sale at affordable prices. Stock changes all the time.
