This well regarded New Zealand Drop Ship business has been operating successfully since 2006, selling computer peripherals and associated electronic products to the general public.

The business sells approximately 4,600 different product lines, has processed nearly 33,000 orders since it started and has a customer base exceeding 15,000 account holders.

The business is very simple to run, holds no stock, has no fixed hours of operation, has no specialised hardware, has no lease agreements, has no premises and can literally be operated from anywhere in the world with an internet connection.

The potential buyer should be a competent computer user and have good familiarity with computer hardware and associated technology. There is no cold calling involved and almost all communications are handled by email.

The website has been custom built using PHP, XML and XSLT templates and uses a PostGRE backend database. It uses a CentOS 7 Linux distribution on a hosted VPS. None of this matters in day to day operations, but the potential buyer needs access to competence in these specialisations for ongoing support and site maintenance.

There is still much potential for growth: the current owner has literally never undertaken any marketing at all, even though the opportunities are obvious - particularly for email and social media campaigns. This was never the plan (!) but a series of major medical and personal issues over the past few years left the current owner unable to invest the time and effort needed.
