Marine industry opportunity: operating partner for new Auckland venture

An established group of Auckland manufacturing businesses is launching a new venture in the premium marine equipment space, and we're looking for the right person to lead it.

The groundwork is complete: full engineering design validated, manufacturing capability in place through existing precision cutting and fabrication operations, brand and market positioning developed, and a clear gap identified in a growing segment of NZ's marine sector.

What we need now is an operating partner. This is a founder-level role for someone who wants to own and run a business, supported by partners who bring the manufacturing, engineering and commercial infrastructure behind the scenes. Ideally you have a background in engineering, manufacturing, trades or the marine industry, and a genuine connection to the NZ boating lifestyle.

There is an investment component to the partnership, discussed with qualifying candidates, but we want to be clear: we are looking for a driver first and an investor second. The right fit matters more than the funds.
