Canterbury Quarantine Station

Canterbury Quarantine Services is a Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI) approved transitional facility offering quarantine services for cats and dogs arriving into New Zealand. The facility is the only dog and cat quarantine based in the South Island and is situated in the Selwyn district. The quarantine facility incorporates 15 dog kennels and 8 cattery units. Pets are required to stay for 10 days and the kennels offer heated and sound-proofed sleeping areas with a fully covered exercise area.
