Good Honest Products Limited, a large-scale artisan production bakery based in Wigram, currently produces a range of bread loaves using traditional European-style baking methods, natural and organic ingredients, known as Breadman.

Breadman was created by German baker Steffan Klink based Nelson in 1993 as he wanted to make the bread he was used to in Germany available in New Zealand. Good Honest acquired the company in April 2023 and have been producing/distributing the range nationwide to on-line customers, supermarkets and retail stores nationwide.

While Breadman continues to thrive as a brand, it no longer aligns with Good Honest’s future growth plans and this well-established brand offers any new owner (and possibly qualified baker) the opportunity to purchase a turnkey business with a proven product range, tried and true recipes, loyal customer base, social media accounts and relationships with key suppliers of ingredients.

The baking industry presents high barriers to entry, requiring substantial initial capital, qualified expertise and established relationships with supermarkets – which Breadman has already overcome.
