This is a botique cabin rental buisness consiting of 6 cabins, delivery trailer and tow vehicle.
4 cabins of approx 7.2m x 2.6m self contained with kitchens and bathrooms.
2 Cabins 4.8m x 2.5m with just kitchenets [fridge and microwave].
Currently located in the Auckland area and operated from a home address. You need a property with sufficient room to park a cabin and delivery trailer for this.
Turnover is currently in excess of 54k pa with most cabins on long term rental [well in excess of 12 months] resulting in some rents that are well below current market.
You need to be comfortable to tow a trailer with a 2 ton cabin on it and able enough to mount and demount the cabin from the trailer, we have a jacking system for this.
The business is currently operated by one person over the retirement age.
Cabin movements are typically only 2 or 3 per year and can usually be scheduled to suit your time available.
The tow vehicle is a 2007 Mercedes ML 550.
The business is not gst registered so the sale price includes Gst resulting in a possible substantial claim if if was added to a Gst registered business and due to the depreciation rate claimable on the assets very little tax is payable on the income.
