The Opportunity

Aside from ongoing revenue and profitability improvements, this business has the ability to leverage its dominant local position and existing direct customer relationships to:
- Access increased national freight revenue by the right strategic relationship with a national carrier;
- Achieve additional profitability through efficiencies gained by better utilising existing freight routes; and,
- Better utilise capital expenditure. Their fleet is modern due to management’s policy of buying new vehicles. Historically these vehicles also do relatively low km’s. Therefore, there is the opportunity to economically insert mid-life vehicles into the business from a larger fleet.

Financials

The business’ FY25 revenue was $3.9m and normalised profit (EBPITDA) of $664k.

Expressions of interest are now being sought from qualified parties with the capacity to make a $2m plus investment.
