After 21 rewarding years operating this business, it’s time for us to retire and put our feet up. We’re now offering for sale our well-established rural delivery run – RD 9 in Hamilton, servicing the beautiful Rotokauri and Whatawhata areas.

This run services around 850 customers (mailbox holders) from Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays, and covers approximately 120 km of roads. The business is currently operated by one person, starting in the early morning and usually finishing around 1:00 PM.

As an independent contractor with a guaranteed contract through NZ Post, you’ll be delivering:

Standard mail

Parcels (a rapidly growing part of the business due to increased online shopping)

Newspapers, brochures, and pamphlets

Please note this is a postal delivery contract, not a courier contract. It offers a higher rate of return, which is reflected in the overall value of the business

Important Details:

The sale includes the established business and NZ Post contract

The 2023 Toyota Hiace van is not included in the sale price but is available for purchase at an agreed valuation

Buyers must sign a confidentiality agreement to access financial information

Final purchase is subject to NZ Post’s approval process, including an interview, police vetting, and drug testing
