Scooterbitz is For Sale

Scooterbitz was started back in 2010. We purchased it in 2015 and have grown it since, but it is time for someone else to take it to the next level. While we are based in Christchurch the business could be re-located anywhere in the country.

Scootering continues to grow with nearly 140 riders at the recent Nationals Competition. While we have been more focused on the more skilled rider there are plenty of opportunities to broaden that base, to include younger riders as well as older riders with more commuter focused scooters. There are also many more brands that could be stocked.

We currently stock most of the premium brands in the scootering world, including Apex, Hella, River, Proto, Tilt as well as popular brands like Root Industries, Native and Envy.

Scooterbitz operates a Shopify based webstore that sees sales to riders across the country. In 2018 we opened a mobile store that we operate weekly near a Christchurch skatepark. Our store gives riders and their parents an opportunity to view parts, discuss the best options for new parts and for us to do repairs.

The business could suit a parent of a keen scooter rider that can see an opportunity for a side hustle. Or maybe it could be an add-on to your existing business.

We are open to options around the mobile store.

As we continue to trade the value of the stock is always changing and we will continue to order stock to ensure the business is well stocked. We can also help with relocating the business
