Exsurgo, based in Auckland, specialises in the design and development of cutting-edge neurofeedback devices.

Established in 2015, Exsurgo has developed Axon, a portable Electroencephalography (‘EEG’) Headset that is clinically validated, non-opioid, data-driven solution for chronic pain and associated, anxiety and depression. Axon measures patients’ brainwaves and analyses these in real time through a tablet-based mobile application.

An intellectual property (‘IP’) protection strategy for the developed technology is already in place. The IP is proprietary to Exsurgo. The Company is currently running and has completed three clinical trials and is in the initial stages of commercialising its first product.

The NZ production facility is established and with minimal additional production resources can manufacture up to 1,000 units per month. It has obtained US FDA and UK MHRA regulatory approval.

Exsurgo continues to trade in receivership.
