WellLinked Accounting Franchise

Seeking like-minded accountants in public practice to create a WellLinked Accounting franchise in New Zealand, based around proprietary WellLinked Accounting Software.

WellLinked Accounting Software uses a unique business model, written in response to the current trend of internet-based accounting software, in the belief that:

1. Internet-based accounting is slow and lacks functionality;
2. The accountant, not the client, should do the accounting work;
3. Clients should not have to pay to use accounting software;
4. Prolonged exposure to internet post-back is unhealthy for users.

The software is written in two parts:

1. An app that sits on the accounting practice’s local server;
2. A website that is free for clients to use: welllinked.co.nz

The website provides the client with invoicing, job costing, debtor management and payroll entry,

The app and website feed into a shared cloud-hosted database.

The app can do in one hour what can take up to a day to do on internet-based accounting software, an 87.50% increase in productivity.

The software is available only to accountants in public practice; it is not available or designed for business owners to run their own businesses.

WellLinked is freehold, there are no investor or bank interests. It has been developed, used in practice and tested over the last twelve years.

The aim of WellLinked Accounting is to become the dominant player in the small to medium business market, for accountants in public practice in New Zealand; Achieved through increased productivity, superior outputs and free internet software for clients.

In the first instance, prefer accountants with a talent/interest/passion for software programming, to keep the software in-house. However, open-minded to ideas from other interests.

WellLinked Software is written in Microsoft Visual Studio, uses Microsoft SQL Server, RDLC reporting and Microsoft Azure Cloud hosting.
