SECTION SERVICES

Section Services involves all kinds of section work but mainly cutting trees and tidying up sections. With the right kind of skilled owner or operator it can be a lucrative income provider. I'm getting a bit old for it, but it effectively still provides me with a very good hourly rate of return. Most jobs are done on a set rate (contract rate), so there is an incentive and reward for getting stuck in and getting the job done. With the use of truck, chipper, tools and me, I charge an hourly rate of $150/hr + GST. And add $40/hr/labour unit.

The tipper truck is a 2007 Hino Dutro. The chipper is a Hansa C27 which has done less than 500hrs. Both have been regularly serviced and maintained. The chipper can swivel 360-degrees, making it convenient to park the chipper beside a pile of branches.

A 50 Ton log splitter. Braked tandem trailer. Variety of tools. And repeat customers.
