Rural mail run

Mail and courier service based from Wellsford and servicing the lower north area of Kaiwaka, Mangawhai & Te Arai in a loop covering approximately 200 km per day. This is a 2 vehicle run due to freight volumes and may ideally suit a family team or couple. Work hours currently range from 7-8 /day & 8-9/day on average depending on which side of the run is worked and currently work a 5 day week with weekends off.

The business consists of a NZ Post contract + all other courier company business which hand over freight destined for the rural sector. While mail volumes have dropped off over the last few years, online shopping has increased enormously, showing a steady year on year increase on the books.

Business includes 2 vehicles- 2019 Toyota Hiace & 2022 Toyota Hiace. Another 2022 Toyota Hiace can be included at additional cost

All applicants will need to pass Drug and Police checks as well as an NZPost interview process to ensure suitability.
A confideniality agreement will also need to be signed before any financial records are presented.
