Craft Beer Brewery & Tap Room in Scenic Central Otago

Freehold Ferris Road Brewery has operated in Alexandra for 10 years The Bar and pizza bar for 8 years, It is now time for a new owner to release the hidden potential it has. Owner operated by husband & wife this microbrewery gives a great mix of income and life style with the ability to increase income substantially.
Hours we were open 4 days a week (Thursday to Sunday) from 3pm to 9pm.
There are 14 taps with a mix of on-site brewed beers and International & NZ breweries, with a small selection of local wines. Food is kept simple with wood fired pizzas and flat breads prepared at front of house.
Additional income is made by keg sales to private functions, rigger & bottle sales to local supermarkets & attending local festivals.
There is huge potential to increase income by longer hours, adding spirits & other food options and pursuing other outlets. Or simply retain as is and enjoy the lifestyle that Central Otago has to offer.
Premises consist of rustic bar/front of house with 2 outside areas, kitchen with walk in chiller, brewery & office, rear room with large walk in beer chiller. Council have approved plans to extend the rear room for brewing. Or it has the potential to be converted to living area/accommodation or a function room.
Brewery equipment includes a new Speidal 200lt micro brewery, fermenters, bottling machine, keg washer and much more. Capacity 1000lt per week. Owner/brewer is willing to transition & train buyer if required.

I have closed the business on the 3rd of March,Trade waste license,on and off licenses,food license etc will all expire on the 26th of May. I will continue brewing for the next 3 months to supply New World and my other stockists.
