We are setting up a national chain of Smokehouses. We have opened five so far (CBD, Henderson, St Lukes, Panmure and Catalina Bay). These are not for sale. New ones are underway in Waiheke and Otahuhu (these are for sale). We are looking for additional locations (these would be for sale). New operation set-up costs range from $10,000 to $70,000 depending on size, location and type of operation. We have small Farmers market and shopping center kiosks to full blown sit down restaurant with bar opportunities.
Smokeland BBQs are already very popular and soon when we add our own craft beer and margaritas etc - we expect that popularity to increase even more.

Our motto is 'CONTINIOUS IMPROVEMENT"
Our unique system really cuts your labour cost and food waste while insuring SUPERB consistent quality with ease of preparation. We do the 2 to 3 day smoking work - you heat n serve our smoked/BBQed meats and make the sides.
We do not work with absentee owners - please do not call unless you (or a business partner) are planning on being a full time hands on operator without other work interests. Food service experience (preferably chef) is really needed. You could also be a HANDS ON manager and hire a chef in the larger size operations.
