Selling kwila or merbau products

We've only got one planet and we need to look after it, so any new kwila or merbau outdoor furniture and decking timber traded on our site must come from a legal and sustainable source. Illegal logging has serious negative environmental, social and economic impacts - to find out more, visit the MAF website.

If you'd like to trade new kwila or merbau outdoor furniture and decking timber, it needs to be certified by either the Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC) or the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC). Both are approved by New Zealand's Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry (MAF), and its Australian equivalent (Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry). We may ask you to provide proof of the certification.

We believe that giving items multiple lives is beneficial, so this change does not affect second-hand products.
