OUR HISTORY: Kings of Chrome started as a spin off from Western Star and MAN dealer Heavy Trucks Ltd in Christchurch. We wanted to make show trucks like you see in the USA and Europe, and couldn't find the "next level" stuff we wanted. We didn't want cheap cookie cutter chrome, we wanted high quality cool bling, and really tricky LED lighting that people hadn't seen before. But we couldn't find it locally, and bringing it in as a one off was going to be too expensive. So we got serious. We started a separate company Prodi (Professional Distributors Limited) to import and distribute cool accessories. And as Prodi we set up Kings Of Chrome so anyone in NZ could get cool accessories for their trucks.
KINGS OF CHROME IN THE COMMUNITY: We have always been heavily involved in the community and the trucking industry in New Zealand. Our director Adam Wright is on the executive of the New Zealand Trucking Association, on the organising committee for Trucking 2020, and we have been a key sponsor and part of NZ Trucking’s road safety and healthy driver programs since the start, including the amazing SafetyMAN road safety truck. When the Alexandra Blossom fest truck parade’s sponsors and organisers pulled out, we stepped in to keep the show going for many years. We also supported Women in Transport with our custom "WOMAN" clip on badge for MAN trucks. Plus we have the largest bouncy castle truck in New Zealand!

Orders placed on weekends or public holidays normally ship the next working day. Our distribution centre is very automated, with a very high level of accuracy and efficiency.

If you Buy Now before 2:00PM Monday to Friday, your order usually ships the same day for delivery within 1-2 days within New Zealand. Please allow an extra day for delivery when ordering in the weekend or public holidays, for Aerosol Spray Products (DG), bulky/heavy items, and rural delivery.
Delivery is available to New Zealand physical addresses only (No PO Box).
