Are all your products new?
Yes all our products are new unless otherwise stated
Do you fit the parts?
Yes we do, please refer to our about us section for more detail, you are welcome to call us to discuss fitting, costs and schedule a booking.
We can refer you to various reputable service shops that can fit the parts locally if required.
You will need to get in touch with us if this applies.
Do I need to have a mechanic fit the parts or can I fit them myself?
We do supply detailed fitting instructions for a selected range of our products. Ideally any repairs should be undertaken by a professional but depending on your budget this might not be possible. If you are attempting to fit your parts, you will need a good understanding about the application and how to carry the job out correctly. Some manufacturer warranties require professional fitting, please bare this in mind and contact us if you have a query about fitting.
Do your parts have warranties?
Yes all our parts have warranties, some vary but most carry a 90 day warranty. Please be assured we only sell quality brand parts the same as we fit in our IPV shop. Please see our warranty and returns sections for more information.
I’ve seen it cheaper overseas!
Be Careful!
Exchange rates, freight in that currency, NZ customs clearance fees, GST & credit card fees all add to the landed cost. However, there should be a few things you as the customer should know before you buy.
-Buying from an overseas supplier you are not protected by New Zealand Consumer Law- i.e. the Consumer Guarantees Act so if something goes wrong recourse might be difficult
-International freight is expensive, if the part is wrong or faulty sending it back can end up costing too much and making it a sour trade. If you need to return the part and have paid local GST you are not able to claim it back.
We always recommend you buy locally so if any issues arise, they can be fixed quickly and cheaply.
