Why can a fragrance smell different on me?
Fragrance develops differently depending on skin chemistry, temperature, climate, application and individual perception.
The opening can also smell quite different from the fragrance once it has settled into its heart and dry-down.
Do all fragrances have the same longevity?
No. Longevity and projection vary considerably between fragrances and can also change depending on your skin, weather and application.
Are fragrances only for men or women?
Fragrance is personal.
Although manufacturers may market a fragrance towards men, women or as unisex, we encourage you to explore fragrances according to the scent profiles you enjoy.
What if I have sensitive skin?
Individual sensitivities vary. If you have sensitive skin or known allergies, consider patch testing before wider use.
Stop using the product if irritation occurs and seek appropriate medical advice if needed.
Middle Eastern, Rare Fragrances & Special Imports
Do you stock Middle Eastern fragrances?
Yes. Middle Eastern fragrance is a major focus of Scent Droplet, with a wide variety of recognised fragrance houses represented in our Trade Me range, subject to current availability.
Do you stock rare or hard-to-find fragrances?
Where possible, yes.
Alongside popular and viral releases, we enjoy bringing in rare, less common and harder-to-find fragrances, including selected special imports that may not be widely available in New Zealand.
Because these fragrances can have limited availability, they may sell out and may not always be restocked.
Why are some fragrances low in stock?
We often purchase fragrances in small batches, so popular or harder-to-source scents can sell out quickly.
This also allows us to continually explore different fragrances rather than holding large quantities of only a small number of scents.
Do you restock sold-out fragrances?
Some fragrances return depending on supplier availability, customer demand and sourcing costs.
Restocking is not guaranteed, particularly for rare, discontinued or harder-to-find fragrances.
Can I request a fragrance?
Yes. You are welcome to ask through Trade Me.
We cannot guarantee that we will be able to source every requested fragrance, but customer requests help us understand what fragrance lovers would like to see.
If we decide to stock a requested fragrance, it may later become available through a Trade Me listing.
Why can prices change?
Supplier pricing, availability, freight, exchange rates and sourcing costs can change between batches, so our prices may occasionally change over time.
