FAQs

Technical Support and Guides in the following:

Q1: Is this a no glow or low glow LED camera?

A1: Just like its name, it is a no glow camera with 38pcs IR LED, so you can take pictures and videos at night without being detected.

Q2: What should I do if I forgot the password?

A2: Press the right button and hold, then toggle the switch to SET position, the camera will be restored to the factory, all the setting will be cleared including the password, please with caution.

Q3: If I buy a 6V 2A adaptor, will it charge the batteries? Of course, I have to put in rechargeable batteries.

A3: The camera has no charge function. But you can use batteries charger to charge the batteries, and then put on the recharged batteries.

Q4: I see from a previous question the adaptor plug does not charge the batteries but does the adaptor plug actually power the camera?

A4: Thank you for your question. The camera accepts adaptor plug to supply power, with output interface 4.0* 1.7 mm, in line with the 6V/2A(please do not above 8V) DC voltage output to fit the camera. If you will use it in remote areas, bundle a power bank with a camera is a good choice or you can use 8AA batteries to make sure power enough.

Q5: Does this camera take photos of leaves blowing in the window or is it smart enough to capture only animals by heat sensor?

A5: Heat sensor can capture only animals, if you want to know the activity like leaves blowing in the window, you can set the time shift to take pictures or videos.
Q6: Where to buy the external DC jack?

A6: The DC cable hole is fit to cable with 4.0*1.7mm male line, and the plastic part of the plug is less than 9mm in diameter, you can find many 4.0*1.7mm male lines on Amazon and eBay ot other market, but I am afraid you should ask seller if the plastic part of the plug is less than 9mm in diameter or not, because most description of cables has no such information. Thank you.

Q7:  How to hook up an external battery?

A7: You could use a cable to connect the external power supply.

Q8: What do you use to clean the PIR sensor mine has scuff marks on it?

A8: Soft and clean cloth is the best choice.

Q9: Can't figure out how to set time clock?

A9: I am not sure about your "time clock", but if you want to set time or interval, please put the button on "SET” position and long press OK/MENU button, then you can see menu, and click the "DOWN" button to find "Interval", click OK, then you can see default time is 5 seconds. That's mean, every 5 seconds it will take photos, take videos, or take photos and videos. Then if you want to send the time of the camera, please enter the menu, and click on "Down" to find "Set Date/Time", press "OK" to set time and date, and long press "OK/MENU" to exit.
