Are your games compatible with my console?
All games supplied by Trippy Trades are 100% compatible with PAL systems unless stated otherwise. We also offer NTSC games, which are in their own separate section.
What is PAL? What is NTSC-J? What is NTSC U/C? And what is the difference?
PAL and NTSC refer to the format of a region. Most retro games and consoles in New Zealand are PAL region. A PAL game can only be played on a PAL console, an NTSC-J game on an NTSC-J console, and an NTSC-U/C game on an NTSC-U/C console. We organize games from different regions into separate sections, so you can easily browse PAL-only games.
What languages are your games?
All the games we sell are the full English language versions unless stated otherwise. Some games offer the option to change the language to English in the settings.
Are the games authentic?
All our games are authentic and genuine. We have a rigorous authentication process to ensure this.
Where do we ship our stock from?
All our games are shipped from our physical store in Melbourne, Australia.
Do all products come with a warranty?
All products sold by Trippy Trades come with a 60-day warranty in case an item is deemed faulty or is not working as advertised.
Can I return my product?
You can return your product within 30 days, even for change of mind. For more details, please click on the Returns section.
How long will it take for my order to arrive?
Orders will be processed and sent within 1 business day. Delivery typically takes between 2-6 business days. Please visit the delivery information page for more details.
What shipping carrier do you use to New Zealand?
We use Australia Post for all orders, ensuring reliable delivery.
Do you offer combined shipping?
Yes, we do! Enjoy combined shipping at no extra cost, making it easier and more affordable to get all your favourite items.
How much is shipping?
Shipping is a flat rate of $7 for all orders.
What payment options are available and are they safe & secure?
We accept payments through Ping and Afterpay on Trade Me.
Are your items tested?
All DVD discs will be disc cleaned using our industrial disc cleaner to ensure the best quality for our customers. We also inspect, clean, and test all consoles and items to guarantee they meet our high standards before they reach you.
