Kitchen Process
Kitchen Project process:
There are six simple steps to follow in getting a new kitchen or cabinetry from Prestige Kitchens Ltd. Please read carefully, so you can have an idea what is the process:
STEP 1: PRELIMINARY DESIGN
The first step is to book a consultation with one of our office staff to establish a preliminary design and specifications for your new kitchen, or if you already have a plan, we are happy to price this for you. We will need some general dimensions of your room showing where the windows and doors are situated. Do not worry about getting a precise measurement as one of our staffs will visit to complete a detailed site measure upon acceptance of our quote. We will also need to receive from you your intended specifications, and if you have specific ideas for the look and feel of your kitchen already please feel free to bring with you photographs or pictures from magazines or websites.
STEP 2: PRICING
Once you are happy with the preliminary design, we will provide you with a fixed price quote for your new kitchen based on that design. Our quotes are detailed so you can see the cost components that calculate your quote total. If you would prefer, we are happy to quote different options for you such as the prices of different benchtops or cabinet finishes.
STEP 3: MEASUREMENT
After you have accepted our quote, we will make an appointment with you to visit and measure your kitchen area to check the precise measurements of your kitchen to ensure the final design of your kitchen will fit into your home as planned.
STEP 4: FINAL DESIGN
When you have accepted our quote, one of our designers will meet with you to finalise your kitchen plans and specifications. Any significant changes on the preliminary plan will be priced for you for your approval.
STEP 5: BUILDING
Your new kitchen will be assembled by our local tradesman in our factory which will take between 2-3 weeks depending on its size, componentry and end finish. The installation on your site which will take up to one week to get everything finished.
STEP 6: INSTALLATION

Any final touches such as toe-kicks and ceiling scribers are to be installed when all other work required in your kitchen area such as flooring work, plumbing and marking up of sink draws are complete. We will keep you informed all throughout the process.
