Shipping
All of our products are shipped from Wellington, New Zealand and are stored locally. We are also more than happy to combine shipping with orders, but please contact us prior to trying to do this yourself.
We use CourierPost Overnight as our primary courier service – however if they are unavailable at the time of booking another service will be used.
Please ensure your delivery address on TradeMe is correct PRIOR to purchasing. We are legally obligated to send it to the address given when you hit buynow. If you select the wrong address and don’t realise until its too late, get in touch with us and we will try to help. However we can make NO guarantees. If the item has already been booked with the courier, we cannot help.
Delivery Targets:
We aim to ship all orders within 3-5 business days, unless stated within the product description. We usually process items quicker than this, however this is a typical worst-case time frame. If you are in a major rush, please get in touch first so that we can prioritize your order.
We do use an overnight courier service, however that is not ever guaranteed. Typically NORTH ISLAND deliveries are overnight, but the SOUTH ISLAND / RURAL deliveries can add an extra 2-3 days onto this time frame.
Once the parcel is collected by the courier, it is completely out of our control. These are the time frames given to us by them and are targets – not guarantees.
TradeMe will automatically email you the tracking information once your item is shipped. Please check your emails and spam folder prior to contacting us if you have not received this info. But if you’re still stuck – we are more than happy to help track it down for you.
Damaged In Transit
If you receive an item damaged, DO NOT SIGN FOR IT and contact us immediately. If the item is visibly damaged and signed for, you are accepting it in its damaged state. If it has been left behind, you will need to keep all of the packaging and provide us with photos of the packaging and the areas of damage. We will then organize the courier company to re-collect the item from you and assess it.
After it has been collected by the Courier company, the claim process will start. We are NOT able to provide a replacement or refund until the claim has been completed, which can take up to 30 days.
If you are not able to provide ALL of the original packaging, all of the items, and have it re collected by the courier – we will NOT be able to offer you a replacement or refund as we will not be able to make a claim for compensation.
Terms For Non-Signed And / Or Non-Tracked Shipping Methods
We offer signed, non-signed, tracked, and non-tracked shipping options. Please note that if you select the non-tracked or non-signed shipping options (so ANY option besides tracked & signed), ANY and ALL liability for loss or damage to item(s) ordered falls ENTIRELY on the buyer. We are exempt from ANY and ALL responsibility as soon as your order is collected from us and scanned on-board the courier when using any non-tracked or non-signed shipping method. Ownership for all item(s) in your order change legal ownership to the buyer as soon as it is scanned on-board by the courier when using these methods.
This means if your item(s) are lost in transit and any shipping option besides tracked & signed was selected, we are in no way, shape or form, liable for any form of compensation.
We will of course still do our best to help you resolve any issues with shipping (e.g. a lost, delayed, or damaged parcel), but will not be deemed liable for any form of compensation - whether that be a refund, partial refund, or replacement items. Therefore, we always suggest selecting a signed shipping method.
