Honesty is Best
 
We rely on you, the customer to be honest with choosing your first item shipping charge. Customers who choose $0.00 for the first item will not have their order shipped until the basic charge is paid.
 
Free shipping over $150 is by Standard International Courier with NO signature on delivery. If your order is over $150 and you would like Express shipping please contact MiniZoo at info@minizoo.com.au

Shipping & Insurance
 
All parcels are shipped via Australia Post’s eParcel service. Once the package has cleared New Zealand Customs it is transferred to New Zealand Post for delivery.
 
MiniZoo automatically insures parcels declared lost in the mail. In the extremely rare event that this occurs we will work closely with the Aus Post and NZ Post to locate the package. If the parcel is officially declared lost by the Postal service MiniZoo will reimburse you. We will not cover claims for parcels that show as delivered by NZ Post.
 
If you don’t expect to be home at the time of delivery you can choose to leave special instructions such as ‘safe to leave at front door’. These instructions should be messaged with your order or emailed directly to info@minizoo.com.au

Tracking and Delivery Times

You will receive an email when your parcel ships containing your international tracking number.
How long does it take to arrive?
  • Standard International 10-15 business days
  • Express International 5-10 business days
Note: these are estimates only and are subject to variation due to time in NZ Customs, weather events and public/postal holidays.
 
GST and Customs Charges
 
Orders under $1000 NZD – already include NZ Goods and Services Tax (GST) in the price paid and are not subject to additional taxes.
 
Orders over $1,000 NZD - are subject to additional tariff duties, import entry transaction fees and biosecurity system entry levies at the border. GST will also apply to these customs charges. If customs requests the buyer to pay GST on the item and shipping value, buyers should show customs that GST has already been paid. This can be done using the GST receipt the buyer has received from Trademe. MiniZoo has no control over these taxes and cannot advise what they will be once your parcel has arrived in New Zealand. Orders cannot be returned to sender. If you refuse to pay these charges your parcel may be abandoned. MiniZoo will not be held responsible for any loss of funds as a result of this occurrence.
 
We will not mark international orders as a gift in order to bypass or reduce any taxes or fees.
