We only accept Pay Now. Pay Now allows you to pay for your purchases by credit or debit card on Trade Me.
When you win an auction, you make a payment and provide your delivery details to us in one easy step, without leaving Trade Me. We get instant confirmation of your payment and delivery address.
Paying by credit or debit card provides you with more protection than paying by cash or internet banking, because it keeps Trade Me informed of the auction and payment. Your credit or debit card details are secure and encrypted. There are several credit and debit cards you can use to make a payment to a seller via Pay Now. These are:
Visa
MasterCard
Diners Club
Prezzy Card
Unfortunately American Express is not accepted for Pay Now transactions, although you are welcome to credit your Trade Me account via American Express.
There are no additional fees for using your credit or debit card to pay. Buyers must be authenticated to pay by credit card.
