Shipping

 
All our listings show shipping costs which is additional to the item cost.  Occasionally we offer free shipping on a second or subsequent item purchased and sent with the first item.  Depending on the item purchased, we will use NZ Post or Aramex Couriers for delivery.  The delivery method will depend on the actual item, its value, your address, the amount of packaging required, (generally we can send bigger parcels with more protection via courier as opposed to NZ Post), the delivery firms terms and conditions (i.e. NZ Post and Aramex have certain restrictions regarding what their insurance covers), and your preferences if you have any. 
 
Remote, Out of Town, Offshore Island or Rural Delivery
 
Both NZ Post and Aramex change an extra fee over and above the standard delivery charge for Remote, Out of Town, Offshore Island or Rural Delivery services.  We make this clear on each listing so please ensure you select the correct option for your address.  Please use www.addresscheck.co.nz to confirm if your address is rural delivery or not
 
Packaging and Pickups
 
Because what we sell is often older, one off, no longer made or simply irreplaceable we take great care with packaging fragile and delicate items. Our feedback reflects this.  We do not have a retail outlet and due to other commitments, such as work and family we cannot do pickups or drop offs.
 
Dispatch Timeframes
 
For most purchases, especially if you use PING and if you provide us with your address via Trademe, your item will be sent immediately.  If you pay by bank transfer your item will be sent on the next working day after payment is processed into our bank account. Please be aware that for some banks there is a day or so difference between when the money goes from your account and is actually processed into and is visible in our account.  If your address comes via Trademe, we will get your address immediately and we will process (pick, check and pack) the purchase then and there.  This allows much quicker turn around.  If you provide your address after you have paid, and you send a separate email with the delivery address dispatch will be much slower.
 
Problems
 
If there is a problem with your trade, please contact us immediately.  A phone number will always be included on the parcel you receive from us.  You can also always contact us using the question facility on any one of our listings but please be aware we only sell via Trademe.
