Warranty

 

Unless otherwise stated in our listings ALL of our products sold come with a written warranty period (return to base at purchasers cost) which will vary depending on the item purchased (excluding battery or software issues on complete units). If you have an issue please contact us during business hours and we will handle the situation from there. We will cover courier costs that may be incurred in the unlikely event you receive an item and it is faulty upon receipt, however under normal warranty claims returning of the faulty item will be at your expense. We will repair replace or refund at our discretion and honour our obligations under the consumer guarantees act.

* CGA will only apply to the products sold for personal, domestic, or household use or consumption only;

* All products sold come with a wrriten warranty peroid on the invoice which wary depending on the item purchased. All details are specified on the listing details. 

* As required by CGA (if applicable), we guarantee all products we sell shall last for a "reasonable time period";

* Please confirm the time period you would accept as “reasonable” before bidding so we could arrange a separate warranty/guarantee at a different cost to you.

Otherwise, you accept that the default warranty/guarantee offered in the product description is "reasonable" to you;

* Warranty will only cover most hardware issues. Physical damage and software issues are generally not covered but can be fixed under our low cost repair policy for return customers;

Replacement products are guaranteed until the end of the existing warranty period for the product that was replaced.

* Warranty will not be applied if there is damage, malfunction or failure resulting from alterations, accident, misuse, abuse, fire, liquid spillage, mis-adjustment of customer controls, use on an incorrect voltage, power surges and dips, thunderstorm activity,  voltage supply problems, tampering or unauthorised repairs by any persons, use of defective or incompatible accessories, the operation of a computer virus of any kind, exposure to abnormally corrosive conditions or entry by any insect, vermin or foreign object in the product or any physical damage to the product caused by the customer. 

* CGA will only cover the issues cased by "unacceptable quality". Issues caused by power surge, misusing, careless handling or other user induced damage may not be covered;

* Before we could process any complaints or issues related to CGA, you agree you will send the product to us at your expense with an Return Authorization Number for inspection.

Liability

Please choose carefully as we do not refund if you change your mind. If the product is faulty, we will meet our obligations under the CGA;

* You agree you are sure that the goods or services ordered are fit and suitable for the purpose they are required;

* If we are ever held liable to you, our liability is limited to our choice of providing you either a refund or replacement;

* We will not be liable for any loss of profits or any indirect or consequential loss, even if the possibility of such loss has been brought to our attention;

* This clause is subject to any rights you may have under all New Zealand Acts.
