FAQs

Completing Your Purchase

Please make contact with us within 2 days of winning an auction or completing a “Buy-now”. Full payment should be made within 3 working days of winning the auction.

 

Payment Options:

Automated Payment Option

On completion of your auction or "buy now" you will be emailed a confirmation of purchase and our Bank Account Details or the option to use Trademe’s Paynow secure credit card link.

Direct Credit

Orders paid for using this method will be shipped upon confirmation that your payment has been received. Payments normally take around 24 hours to reach our bank account. Payments made after 9.30 pm Fridays and over the weekend will not normally show in our a/c until Tuesday morning. Payments should be made to the following bank account:

A/c name: MGG Products or simply "MGG" is acceptable.

 

Delivery and Pick-up Policy:

Orders confirmed and paid for before midday on regular business days will normally be dispatched on the same day. Orders confirmed and paid after midday will normally be dispatched on the next business day. Please allow 3 working days for delivery and an extra 1 to 3 working days for delivery to rural addresses. Although we will endeavour to meet all dispatch & delivery time frames we cannot be held liable for any direct or consequential loss arising from a late delivery or incomplete delivery address given. Please include your postal code. You will be sent an email message that evening advising that your goods have been shipped, the carrier and what the tracking number is. Delays can occur during peak times such as Christmas and long weekends – please be patient.

If a customer is not present for a delivery, the carrier may leave the goods at the delivery address at the owner’s risk unless we have been requested not to. Please advise us if you have a special place you would like the goods left. 


Customers in the Bay of Islands area are welcome to collect their goods from our warehouse and pay by cash or eftpos at time of collection but we need to be informed of this intention within 2 days of the auction and collection should be within 5 working days. Our warehouse is in Kerikeri (Northland) and is generally open from 9am to 4pm Monday to Thursday and 9am to 1pm Fridays. We are closed weekends and Public Holidays

 

MGG Returns Policy

We like all of our customers to be completely happy with their purchases. We give our customers 14 days from the date of delivery to return any product, provided it's unused and in the original packaging as received. We will provide a refund of the purchase price, excluding freight, once the goods are received back and inspected by us.


 

Warranty

All goods come with a one (1) year MGG New Zealand warranty against defective parts and workmanship unless otherwise stated on the relevant auction.

If you have a defective or damaged item please contact us immediately via email. Clearly state the exact problem and please include the following information: Full name, invoice number, date of purchase, description of item, best daytime contact number and if possible a photograph of the fault or damage.

Any item that is found to be faulty within the stated warranty period will be repaired or exchanged. We will meet our full obligations to provide a remedy as stated under the Consumer Guarantees Act, except where a customer has purchased the item for commercial use, in which case the warranty is limited to 3 months from date of purchase.

The warranty is strictly “Return to Base”. Goods must be returned to MGG, 29C Mill Lane, Kerikeri 0230 at the customers expense. Repaired or replaced goods will be returned to the customer at MGG’s expense. For larger machinery items purchased at wholesale price or less and for which it is not practical to return to base, the MGG warranty covers parts only and not any labour cost.

The warranty covers manufacturing defects only. It does not cover faults caused by lack of maintenance, improper use or normal wear and tear.

Unless otherwise stated the 12 month warranty applies to use in a “normal” domestic home environment only. All warranty claims must be accompanied by an original invoice.

The warranty is only provided to the original purchaser and is not transferrable to any other party.



Limitation of Liability

In no event shall MGG be liable for any indirect, special, incidental or consequential damages including but not limited to loss of use, loss of data, loss of business or profits.
