Shipping
Motor Morgue ships motorcycle parts throughout New Zealand.
Shipping costs and available delivery options are calculated or displayed during the checkout process where applicable.
Dispatch Times
We aim to process orders as quickly as possible.
Most orders are processed during normal business operations, but dispatch times can vary depending on:
* Product availability
* Order volume
* Payment confirmation
* Weekends and public holidays
* The size or nature of the item
* Whether the item needs additional preparation or packaging
If your order is time-sensitive, please contact us before purchasing so we can advise whether we can meet your required timeframe.
Delivery Times
Once an order has been handed to the courier, delivery is handled by the relevant courier or freight provider.
Delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed unless a specific guaranteed service has been purchased.
Delays can occur because of:
* Courier network congestion
* Weather
* Public holidays
* Rural delivery
* Incorrect or incomplete addresses
* Oversized or unusually heavy items
* Circumstances outside our control
Motor Morgue cannot guarantee a specific delivery date unless this has been expressly confirmed with us in advance.
Rural Deliveries
Rural addresses may require additional delivery time or charges depending on the courier service and size of the item.
Please make sure your delivery address is complete and includes any required rural delivery information.
Large, Heavy or Oversized Parts
Some motorcycle parts cannot be sent using standard parcel services.
Large or heavy items such as engines, frames, wheels, large fairings or other bulky components may require a specialised freight service.
Where additional freight costs apply, we may contact you before dispatch to confirm the shipping arrangements and any additional amount payable.
If you're purchasing a large or heavy part, we recommend contacting us before checkout if you want to confirm the available freight options.
Incorrect Delivery Address
Please check your delivery address carefully before completing your order.
If you realise that you've entered the wrong address, contact us as soon as possible.
If your order has not yet been dispatched, we will do our best to correct the address.
If the order has already been handed to the courier, we may not be able to change the delivery address. Additional courier charges may apply where an address correction or redirection is possible.
Tracking
Where tracking is available, tracking information will generally be provided once your order has been dispatched.
Please allow some time for tracking information to become active after the parcel has been collected.
If tracking shows that your parcel has been delivered but you cannot locate it, please check around the property and with other occupants before contacting us. We can then assist with contacting the courier if necessary.
Packaging
We take care when packaging motorcycle parts for transport.
Parts may be packaged using suitable cartons, protective materials, wrapping or other packaging depending on their size, shape and fragility.
Some used parts may have existing cosmetic marks or wear that are unrelated to shipping. Please inspect your parcel and its contents carefully when it arrives.
If an item appears to have been damaged during transport, take photographs of:
1. The outer packaging
2. Any visible damage to the packaging
3. The damaged part
4. The shipping label
