Warranty


Generally our warranty is for 3 months, which we think is very fair for a refurbished item.  With laptops if there should be a fault it will generally show up in the first few weeks.  Even though we do VERY thorough testing, something can always slip through.  As you can see from our feedback though, we are extremely fair in our warranty dealings with customers.  The warranty is a BTB (back to base) warranty, meaning it is your responsibility to get it back to us to appraise.  We will repair or replace at our discretion, or refund as a last resort, again, at our discretion.  There’s a few things that sometimes people think are covered under warranty but are not, like accidental damage, liquid damage or the like.  Also software is NOT covered by warranty, so if you wipe the operating system or forget your password, we will have to make a small charge for restoring things to normal for you.
 
In the unlikely event that you need to send something to us, PLEASE make sure ALL your details and a description of the fault are included in the parcel and that it is well wrapped.  Sending a $1000 laptop in a single layer bubblewrap bag with no other protection is something we see sometimes.  Don’t be that guy!
