I have been running my Nissan Terrano on waste vegetable oil since August 2005, for 37,000 kms, at well below the pump price of diesel. It has already paid for itself and is environmentally friendlier than diesel. Make sure you have a supply of oil and your injectors are Bosch or similar, before going ahead. There are several kits for conversion to vege oil available in Auckland now.
