TD 42 + turbo manifold + TD06 + wastegate

NEW: Turbo is a td06 20g turbo with 8cm exhaust housing. I did a huge amount of research before buying this turbo- its the one to use if you want a real monster of an engine. The TD05 is popular with the turbo safari's but will run out of puff when asking the engine to rev.

This turbo has a brand new TRUST exhaust housing (no wastegate port), new seals, wheels, etc etc etc with VR4 core. It has been totally rebuilt and put together by Steve Murch and should get the engine to over 200kw (im told) if you can get enough diesel in to feed things.

The turbo looks and feels absolutely 100% new and has a RRP of over $2,000 NEW: This adapter has been machined from a solid lump of steel and converts the 3 bolt round port turbo flange into square hole TD03 to fit the manifold. The adapter also rotates the turbo a few degrees clockwise to give a much cleaner path for the downpipe. The adapter also tilts the turbo forwards to give as much compressor housing to bonnet clearance as possible.

RECONDITIONED: Wastegate to fit manifold. New valve seat and valve machined to be 100% true. New bolts and diaphragm. Housings etc bead blasted so it looks and functions like new.

Engine: The engine is a TD42 4.2 litre diesel motor. The engine has done 250,000km but runs very well. It starts instantly when cold , warm or hot. There is an oil leak around the valve cover which has made things a bit grubby but this is purely cosmetic. A new gasket is supplied to fix this.

The engine has no AC compressor and runs a new shorter V belt.

New genuine waterpump installed.
