We have been making these for over 18ths with well 2000 units sold (an old auction #131861662) We note now others are making a cheap copy,Our unit will NOT fall out of the wall socket due to weight of box as our lead allows unit to sit on floor,The box we use is specailly for the job and NOT a thin wall enclosure made for mounting on house switchboards,Special AS/NZ Standards are needed which we belive cannot be obtained by other units we have seen made with just $25 of parts

Plug in your caravan from your house power point ,WILL YOUR INSURANCE COVER THE USE OF YOUR ILLEGAL ADAPTER IF THERE IS A FIRE!

Unlike the fire hazard illegal adapters around that just have a diff plug on each end,This unit has a 10 amp MCB to limit current draw,The plug on your house is only rated at 10amps and anything fitted with that type of plug (3112) MUST not be able to draw more that 10amps.ALL caravan plugs are rated at 16 amps and worse still is MOST older caravans having only rewireable fuses could draw well over 30 amps

PLEASE NOTE this unit does NOT have a RCD fitted in it ,(RCD's can ONLY be fitted in oe on the caravan as per AS/NZS Standards/NOT in the lead) We recomend a RCD be fitted to all caravan switchboards for your safety at all times, we have the best price in NZ for a complete switchboard ($98)__with an RCD installed in the caravan you will also be able to plug this unit into an RCD supplied power point without RCD in the house tripping,if you want a sw/bd and this unit there is a 5% dicount off total and only one post cost(You will need to tell you want both)
