BMW 325i E36 Coupe 1995

This car was first registered in Christchurch by a mature couple and lived the first 12 years of its life in Timaru. When I picked it up on 107,000km they told me they had done lots of open road trips and drove it well but never thrashed it (they were in their late 50's).

I too have done lots of open road trips as nearly 70,000km's in a bit over 3 years testifies and this is by far the best BMW I have owned out of 6 in total. It drives superbly and gets positive comments about how tight it feels from most people that travel in it. No rattles and bangs, steering pin point, sounds fab, etc. I have also had it serviced religiously every 8K - 10K.

In the past few months I have done quite a few maintenance things that were due such as new shocks, disks and pads all round, a new clutch, and new spark plugs (think they were the originals). It also has a set of Bridgestone 225/50R16 Potenza Adrenalin tyres that are about 5 months old. The car must be well set up as I got nearly 50K from the last set which stunned the bods at the tyre shop.

The body is very good for its age but has the usual chips here and there. The interior is immaculate with the carpets like new and the leather in great nic, except for a small hole on the seam on the drivers seat which was there when I bought it.

The car has a tow bar which I put on specifically to carry the kids and my mountain bikes and has had a trailer on it twice to pick stuff up locally that I couldn't fit in the car.

I can honestly say that this is a reluctant sale as this car has at least another 100K of great motoring left, but unfortunately times are tough and I must part ways.
