Manufactured in Acacia Ridge, Brisbane, Australia in October 1970 and landed in Wellington, New Zealand in December 1970.
The PSN (Production Sequence Number) shows this Torana was one of the first 400 GTR XU1s built.
Original "Plum Dinger" Purple.
Motor is XU1 186ci, Triple Stromberg carburetors, with standard big Bathurst fuel tank, 4 Speed manual gearbox.

Inspected by NZ XU1 Club as being genuine.
Major interior and exterior restoration work undertaken in 2008, with new paint job in original colour at a cost of $10k. New carpet, front seat vinyls, new headlining etc etc.
