Nissan Datsun 140J Violet 1973
Description
Datsun 140J Violet Deluxe
Are you lucky or what to see one of these on TradeMe?? A well looked after 1973 Datsun 140J Violet Deluxe
This Violet is different to many as it is one of the first imported into New Zealand, as told by the original buyer of this vehicle. Even more its a Violet Deluxe I have owned this Datsun for almost 3 years, when I purchased it, it was not happy. Since then I have spent a lot of my time and money restoring it. Now it is your time to own this lovely almost vintage car.It has a current rego and warrent, passes warrents very well, only one it failed was due to a front shock absorber (replaced with receipts) and new brakes.
In the last 6 months I have rebuilt/reconditioned the old engine to totally original spec.
Specs: Recondition Rebuilt original L14 Engine with single carburetor, matching numbers to the chassie. 4 speed manual gearbox, good clutch. 4 star Uniden dual immobilizer installed
Comes with the following: Complete set of badges, they are not on the car for a reason, so no one can steal them, the big badge for the boot cost me almost $100. 5 standard hubcaps, 4 on the car, 1 spare 6+ Liters of Metallic Teal Blue, the colour I got the car painted in, which is an original Datsun colour just not this cars, it was originally English Racing Green.
Box full of original carpet pieces and parts that were scattered in the car, the old carpet was not all there, but kept it for colour reference. A set of Twin hiatchi Carbs for an L type engine.
Lots of care has been taken with this car, it does have some rust, normal places are the back window, just above the rear door, and bits around the guards. Rear driver side triangle window is missing and has a purpose cut piece of perspex in place, since before I bought it. Interior is pretty average, its all there, the seats need reupholstering, white interior.
Will upload more photos when its sunny outside. This car I love and regret to sell it.
As is condition.
