Nissan Skyline GT-XE 1978

Datsun Skyline GTX-E (JDM Spec, not just a 240K GT) Imported from Japan. One of the best Skylines of the times, 2nd only the legandry 70's GTR!

Has a carbied 260z engine (L26) which is going well. Car looks awesome, and very rare in NZ, I don't personally know of, or have seen any. I have spent alot of $ on repairing bits and bobs on it to make it run well and that coupled with moving/changing jobs/no money has pushed back the plans I had for it.

I think it's gone around the clock once. Please note this is a Datsun too, not a Nissan. (same company though :)

Gearbox is awesome, and is very close for an old car. Gets tons of looks and people asking me about it, it's quite a popular car!

Inside probebly needs new floor carpets and maybe the top 1/2 of the dash (nothing major with the dash, just a bit wrinkly) and it would be mint.

Has 15" Street Rebel wheels which are in brand new condition (no curbing/damage) with 205/55/15 directional wheels. Brand new front directionals fitted by local tyre shop. Disks at the front, drums at the rear.

Electric windows and even electric wing mirrors!!

Passed it's last WoF with flying colours.

It's just asking for a RB20Det or even RB25Det!!

Also, the engine bay is still black, and also have alot of misc receipts for work and wof's etc.

It's a awesome car which I am gutted to have to put up for sale- I hope it's new owner knows how to treat it right.

May consider a trade for a manuel s13 slivia or 180sx or 200sx. Or maybe a R32 Skyiline GTST.
