Custon Rigid Body 1988

Hand made rigid body, D.T. 1000. named after David Thornly who built the car over 1000 hours. she runs on a mini 1000cc motor and transmission, Austin Allegro steering, Rover seats. the steel is mostly aluminium so has no rust. the car is certified and has been in storage for twelve years before I found it after it came to nz. She was built in England. She is a real head turner, there was only one such car ever made, drives well like a mini and is a lot of fun. Has a heater and roll back roof and lift out back seat. Mechanically sound and will get a wof easily. The registration is on hold and is presently registered as 4 MEAD, the plates which I will keep so i will re-register her with new plates unless you have your own plates. I have a box of spare parts, also the complete history with photos of how she was built, most interesting. this unique car deserves a good home for someone who loves a car that is really different, an eye-catcher. She has always been garaged.
