Up for sale is "Cal", our super reliable runaround wagon. We've owned Cal' for a year now, but we're going on holiday to Thailand and then moving to Rotorua so we must say goodbye.

Cal' always start first time, even on the most freezing of Christchurch mornings. Cal' has ferried us and a load of triathlon gear to Wanaka and back and didn't bat a headlight (we did stop to help out a few broken-down Subaru wagons on the Crown range though).

Cal' even lent a hand during the earthquake, providing us with our only battery powered radio at the time.

So, besides being just plain awesome, Cal' also boasts the following features:

• Alarm
• New AA Battery
• Blaupunkt stereo which belts out the "Glee" soundtrack in superb quality (much to my abhorrence)
• Brake pads done fairly recently
• Recent paint/panel work to fix some dents.
• Warranted until 22nd Nov - last WOF only needed a couple of bulbs.
• Cambelt done at 206,000km's.

Cal' does have a few battle scars from some bad driving by other Merivale residents. There's a small red scuff on Cal's rear bumper. I have my suspicions on the red MX5 that lives three doors down and has been hiding in the garage an awful lot lately. Hmmm. The drivers side wing mirror has also been lopped off by a morning commuter with poor spatial awareness, but we'll replace that before Cal' is sold.

Don't let the k's put you off. Cal' has a lot more to give. Whether you're looking for a 2nd family car, or want to tour around New Zealand, Cal' is up to the task!
