Toyota Landcruiser VX 100 2000

NZ New Toyota Landcruiser VX 4.2 Diesel Turbo 2000 White 7 Seater.

This truck has served me well for the past few years. Due to recently purchasing a 200 series Landcruiser it is just not getting the love it deserves! I bought it off a couple moving overseas who had done a lot of motorway Ks in the North Island travelling from Auckland to Hamilton. I purchased it with around 240,000ks on it.

The truck is still nice and tight and drives well. Regularly serviced and well looked after.

I am a keen rabbit shooter so wanted to make it more suited for use on flat land and rolling hills around Culverdon.

I have kitted it out with the following extras; Goodyear Wranglers, these are about as serious as you can go before the road noise and the handling become a problem.

Springs and Suspension upgrade lifted it around 100mm and make it handle and tow a lot better without sagging in the back end.

TJM alloy Bullbar, made in Australia these are good and solid and make the front end look tuff. These are around $1800 + fitting new.

6 Australian Lightforce spotlights, 2x at the from are 240mm and run 100 watt bulbs. The 4x on the top are 170mm and run nicely on 75 watt bulbs. You can set it up to get almost 180 deg of light, making it ideal for spotlighting.

To power them I have had a second alternator fitted which can be turned on and off with the use of the lights. This cost around $750 to have fitted.

Alloy Roof Rack with a plywood deck cost $1600 new. Ladder was $450 + Fitting.

Australian made Tuneable computer which gave a 15% horsepower increase while using less fuel and a big torque increase. Cost around $1800 including the tune.

Genuine Toyota front and mid row mats.

It has just been serviced which included 2x CVs, the timing belt replaced and of course oil and filter.

Sad to see it sell but I am just not using it enough anymore.

If someone wants to put it back to standard and I will reduce the price and take off aftermarket parts.
