Toyota Hilux Surf 1985

This old surf has been modified for off road driving , quite a bit and is fully certified. The front springs have been replaced by a set of rears to move the axle forward and to increase the wheel travel . the rear springs are from a falcon and give some pretty good wheel travel. The engine is the 2.8 non turbo diesel and runs on the smell of an oily rag. there are a set of extractors fitted. Steering has been changed to a cross over system to allow better wheel travel , this is power steering. 33x10.5 BFG tyres are fitted on 15x8 white rims. there are new brake shoes and pads all round. also new front bearings and recent rear bearings.there are rancho shocks if the front . This car has a lsd in the back , which seems in fairly good condition , I think the diffs are 4.88 ratio(as it was originally a petrol). The front bar is mounted fairly solidly and houses a warn 8274 hi mount winch, which can be controlled by remote or from inside. there is are CB and PRS(uhf) radios inside . The old surf has been on a lot of 4 wheel drive trips and therefore has some bumps and bruises to show for it. There are four sturdy 10 000 lb hooks for recovery. Please note , the milage isn't one million but it's quite cold and I can't be bothered going and getting the real reading. also the number plate will be changed before the sale.
