Description
Superb example of a classic big bore VMX weapon. Extensive restoration countless hours spent from sandblasting frame, two pot epoxy scratch resistant paint. Every single bearing and linkage stripped checked and regreased etc etc.
As imported the bike was in exremely good nick and as such warranted the extra work required to bring it back to show room condition.
All original less a brand new OEM rear guard and nice after market front.
Brand new chain and sprockets. New chain rollers and buffers. New air filter. New tyres(I have the originals)
Mint stock pipes.
Engine has had fresh top end prior to my purchase and is as tight as a drum. Starts effortlessly, runs and sounds beautiful, shifts sweetly and has oodles of smooth big bore grunt.
This is one of Yamahas best big bore offerings ask anyone who owns one.
Nothing to do here just slap on your numbers and go racing.
New owner will be well pleased.
